We couldn’t pass by our state’s capitol without stopping to check it out. Plus, Alex was hungry.
Kelly navigated us to the historical street where Abraham Lincoln’s home is located, along with a few other historic buildings. This section of the street is only open to pedestrians and is styled similarly to how it may have looked in Abraham Lincoln’s time.
We walked around and looked at the buildings, got some food and coffee nearby, and continued on our trip to Missouri.
